*** WATCH *** STABBING VICTIM ARRIVES AT CENTERVILLE FIRE STATION… SUSPECT ARRESTED IN YARMOUTH…
CENTERVILLE, Massachusetts – [DEVELOPING] – As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, at around 8:00 p.m. last evening, a woman was instructed to pull her car into COMM FD Headquarters after she called police saying her boyfriend had just been stabbed twice, once to his left side and once again to his shoulder, according to radio transmissions.
The male victim was said to be in priority one condition. And EMTs transported to the victim to Cape Cod hospital after learning Medflight was not flying due to weather.
An alert was put out to Cape Cod law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for a suspect possibly traveling in a Buick sedan. A license plate number for the sedan was also broadcast to surrounding police departments.
Investigators arrived at COMM FD to speak with the girlfriend who been driving with the stabbing victim.
A short time into the investigation, Yarmouth police officers spotted the suspect vehicle in their town. A traffic stop was conducted in the parking lot of the Stop & Shop on Station Ave. A suspect was taken into custody.
A Barnstable police officer met with YPD officers, taking custody of their stabbing suspect. The suspect was transported back to BPD Headquarters to be booked on Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon charges. [DEVELOPING]
The stabbing victim’s condition remains unknown at the time of this report. Two young children who were seated in car seats inside the victim’s vehicle were not injured.
