WEST YARMOUTH – [HN NOTES] – The general consensus was to fully document and video record the following police encounter… and that it was in the best interest of all involved. The man who was eventually taken into protective custody was recording on his cellphone, 5 police officers were recording on their body cameras, and HN was also recording on three cameras, making a grand total of 9 cameras recording (that we all knew about at the time).

It’s safe to say this morning’s police encounter was well documented.

As the story goes, shortly after 2:00 a.m., Yarmouth Police patrol officers were called to the vicinity of Silverleaf Lane for a report of a male out in the street being belligerent with people partying at an Airbnb. The male was reportedly intoxicated and allegedly trying to start fights. The people at the party reportedly had no idea who the male was and called police.

A short distance from the Airbnb residence, officers located a male fitting the description of the person who had allegedly just tried to start fights. As you will see in the following HN Video. The male began recording on his phone while attempting to walk back in the direction of the Airbnb.
