*** WATCH *** WOMAN HURT IN DENSE FOG RTE. 6 ROLLOVER
WEST BARNSTABLE – A woman was transported to Cape Cod Hospital under a trauma alert after her car rolled over on Route 6 this morning.
The crash happened at around 1:40 a.m., just past Exit 65 westbound. (The old Exit 5)
Barnstable Police, state police, and West Barnstable Firefighters rushed to the scene, all arriving within minutes.
The woman was conscious and alert, and Med-flight was not deemed necessary.
There was dense fog at the time of the crash and it’s uncertain if that contributed to the vehicle losing control. The Massachusetts State Police are investigating the cause of the crash. The state police investigation continued at the Cape Cod Hospital emergency room after the patient had been transported, according to radio transmissions…
