Woman charged after allegedly stabbing a man over 60-years-old… [VIDEO]
HYANNIS – The suspect was nearly half the age of the man she allegedly stabbed…
At about 9:00PM last evening, several Barnstable squad cars rushed to some sort of violent disturbance in the parking lot behind 7-Eleven.
Police came across a man with a stab wound to his right hand. Officers then quickly detained a woman in the nearby Rockland Trust parking lot.
Hyannis rescue responded to treat the man bleeding from his punctured hand.
Coffee drinks had been dropped onto the pavement and a police identification officer arrived to photograph the remnants of what was apparently the scene of a violent altercation.
It is uncertain what led up to the fight, but HN has learned the two are known to each other. A set of keys are said to be the weapons used to allegedly stab the man…
Rescue treated the man’s wounds and the police identification officer took photos of his injuries. The injuries were not considered life threatening and the victim was not transported to CCH.
Joan Luebbers, age 35, of Hyannis, was arrested and charged with Assault & Battery On a Person Over 60… and Assault & Battery With a Dangerous Weapon/ a set of keys.
A source told HN that Luebbers appeared to be intoxicated…
