*** WATCH *** CRASH THROUGH WALL OF HYANNIS BUSINESS CAUGHT ON CAMERA
HYANNIS – [UPATED WITH NEW VIDEO] – HN reported last evening about an SUV that crashed through the wall of a business in Hyannis. The driver escaped without injury (see initial details below). Today, we get a rare glimpse at what that crash looked like from inside the building. It’s a miracle nobody was injured!
The following video was sent in from the owner of the business that suffered all the damage. His name is Dylon Quellette and his business is ironically named “Built Different Construction.” HN has learned that Dylon intends to keep his construction business open and running despite the damage. WOMAN ESCAPES SERIOUS INJURY AFTER CAR DRIVES THROUGH COMMERCIAL BUILDING WALL
HYANNIS – Barnstable Police responded after a car drove through the side of a commercial building at 745 Route 28 last evening, around 9:30 p.m. The woman who was driving the vehicle was able to self-extricate. She was fortunately not injured.
According to sources, the crash is being investigated as an accidental acceleration.
The building inspector was reportedly called to check structural integrity. The scene was cleaned up and the gaping hole had been completely boarded up as of 11pm last evening.
