Another smash and grab…
Hyannis – Early this morning store clerks discovered someone had broken into the Hyannis Convenience Store on Main Street.
This just 24 hours after police discovered broken glass and another “smash and grab” type break-in several blocks away at the Sea Street Market.
Surveillance footage helped quickly solve the Sea Street caper, with three arrests and a number of Newport cigarette packs recovered…
In this morning’s Hyannis Convenience Store break, officers immediately began looking for surveillance footage, in store and from surrounding businesses.
One, possibly two suspects smashed a front store window and climbed in…
The thieves didn’t get away with much, just a small box of miscellaneous papers and receipts they likely believed contained something much more valuable.
One can only imagine how the dastardly dopes felt when they realized the loot was just a cheap box of useless papers… “Curses, foiled again!”
Good, I hope the desperate scumbags have a rotten day.
The Hyannis Convenience Store caper still remains under investigation…
Hyannis News will provide updates as they become available.
