At least two hurt in three car collision… major intersection closed during rush hour…
YARMOUTH – At about 4:10pm, Yarmouth Police responded to a three car collision at Higgins Crowell Road and Buck Island Road.
A Massachusetts State Trooper and a Yarmouth Natural Resource Officer assisted by diverting traffic.
Yarmouth Rescue and Hyannis Rescue evaluated the injured.
At least two patients were transported to Cape Cod Hospital. One victim had serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The intersection needed to be closed in all directions for about an hour due to a pole and wires down in the roadway.
An off-duty Yarmouth Police Officer was also on scene assisting with the investigation.
