HARWICH, MASSACHUSETTS – In a media statement, Cape & Islands District Attorney Robert J. Galibois announced today that Tatiana Jacobs, 26 years old, of Hyannis, MA, has been charged and arraigned for her involvement in the stabbing of a 33-year-old male, in Harwich MA. [Note: No state police booking photo of suspect was provided with the DA’s statement…]
On Sunday May 18, 2025, at approximately 8:14 p.m., (see earlier HN report) Troopers with the MA State Police were dispatched to Route 6 eastbound around mile marker 82 in Harwich for a report of a party that had fallen out of a vehicle. Upon arriving on scene Troopers observed a male laying on his back with a large pool of “reddish-brown substance” around him. It was observed that the victim was suffering from multiple injuries to his upper body. The victim was transported by medflight to a Boston area hospital for treatment.
As HN reported earlier, the male victim was suffering very serious wounds, “while responding to the landing zone, EMTs could be heard describing the patient to the responding Medflight helicopter. According to radio transmissions, the patient was described as a male, approximately 32-years-old, approximately 185 lbs., suffering “multiple stab wounds,” along with trauma from ‘exiting a moving vehicle.’ At one point, the patient was described as having an ‘arterial bleed.’”
The DA’s media statement continues as follows:
The initial investigation revealed earlier that same evening, at approximately 7:54 p.m. in the town of Barnstable, officers were dispatched to a reported disturbance of a man and woman fighting in a parking lot. Upon arrival officers spoke to witnesses that reported that the two individuals who were fighting had left the scene. Officers observed a vehicle in the parking lot that had a smashed windshield and all four tires flattened. The tires appeared to have been flattened due to slice or puncture marks in the tires with a sharp object. The vandalized vehicle belongs to the victim found in Harwich.
Tatiana Jacobs was arraigned in the Orleans District Court on Monday, May 19, 2025, on the charges of Armed Assault to Murder. The defendant was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Friday 5/23/25 in the Orleans District Court.
The Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office reiterates that all defendants are presumed innocent.
