Black Friday at 1:00AM… [VIDEO]
HYANNIS – People were out peacefully shopping in the wee hours this morning, on Black Friday…
The following photo was taken at about 1:05AM.

All of the following photos were taken after 3:00AM when shoppers were still going strong.

HN spoke with Barnstable Police Patrolman Jack Corbett outside of the Best Buy 1:00AM Sale and he reported no major problems other than the usual arguments over place in line. This year, Patrolman Corbett took the initiative to buy a roll of numbered tickets which were given to customers in the order they arrived. As people entered Best Buy, they were orderly and friendly to one another. The line appeared safe and well organized… and it appeared that Patrolman Corbett’s plan had worked smoothly.
The following video shows hundreds of people lined up outside of Best Buy. It was filmed at about 1:00AM just as customers were entering the building.
