Attic fire caused by lightning strike in Bourne… [VIDEO]
BOURNE – According to sources, last evening at about 8:00 p.m., Bourne Firefighters responded to a residential fire in the attic of a multifamily structure at 16 Prestwick Road in Monument Beach.
The fire was reportedly sparked off by a lightning strike.
According to sources, fire departments responded from surrounding towns to assist with operations.
The fire was reportedly contained to just one unit and no one is expected to be displaced from their homes.
