HYANNIS – This just in… a source has disclosed that Barnstable Detectives raided an apartment above the Embargo Restaurant earlier today…
About 120 grams of heroin was seized…

Over the past several months, Barnstable and Yarmouth Narcotics Detectives have been conducting a heroin distribution investigation targeting long time heroin trafficker, Nicolo Billingsley (age 25 of Hyannis). Billingsley is well known to BPD/YPD Detectives and has been the subject of two past drug investigations.
In 2013, Billingsley was convicted of Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute in Barnstable Superior Court. Billingsley was recently released on this charge due to the drug lab scandal. In 2008, Billingsley was convicted of Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute in Barnstable District Court.
The current investigation involved extensive surveillance as well as several undercover purchases of Heroin from Billingsley in the area of Main St, Hyannis. On 6/18/14, YPD Detective Scott Lundergren obtained a search warrant for Billingsley’s apartment located above the Embargo Restaurant at 453 Main St in Hyannis.
At approximately noon on 6/18/14, BPD/YPD Detectives apprehended Billingsley on Main St. A subsequent search of Billingsley’s apartment resulted in the seizure of a plethora of evidence associated with large scale Heroin trafficking. Detectives located 120 grams of Heroin with an estimated street value of approximately $30,000, packaging materials, cutting agents to dilute the Heroin, a digital scale along over $13,000 in cash. Billingsley was arrested and charged with Trafficking Heroin (100-200 grams).

A drug sniffing dog was brought in and after hours of searching, investigators finally found what they were looking for in a wooded area near the house…
Three were arrested and are currently in police custody…
