BRICK THROWN THROUGH MUSTANG WINDSHIELD DURING CENTERVILLE BRAWL
CENTERVILLE – Barnstable Police patrol officers responded to an address on Zeno Crocker Road – ordinarily a very quiet family neighborhood – after receiving reports of a disturbance involving a brick being thrown.
Officers arrived at 109 Zeno Crocker Road earlier this evening – Monday, 4/10/2023 – and found a blue Ford Mustang with its front windshield caved in. A girlfriend of the driver was allegedly inside the vehicle during the attack. She was reportedly shook up, but not seriously injured.
The driver of the Mustang had reportedly once resided at 109 Zeno Crocker a while back. He was said to be returning to collect some belongings. An argument ensued, leading to fisticuffs on the front lawn of the property. The driver was banged up during the brawl and needed to be transported to Cape Cod Hospital for medical attention.
Police towed the Mustang from the scene.
As officers attended to the driver of the Mustang and his passenger, the other party (or parties) involved in the affray reportedly returned back inside the domicile. Due to an alleged lack of cooperation, officers were unable to speak with the other involved individual(s) who had retreated back inside the residence.
The investigation into the matter continued at 109 Zeno Crocker and at Cape Cod Hospital. The investigation is ongoing with officers likely applying for a warrant for the brick attack.
