CHATHAM – Crews from across the mid-Cape were called to 40 Windsong Landing for a two alarm structure fire at around 8:00 p.m. this evening. The large residence was believed to be vacant. Fire spread throughout all floors, including the basement. The bulk of the fire had been contained when flames were seen coming from the attic area. As of 9:40 p.m., most of the flames had been knocked down and crews on scene were being relieved by fresh firefighters who began chasing down hot spots…

As of 10:15 p.m., some crews were returning to their stations while others were still on scene… [DEVELOPING]
