DENNIS PORT – [DEVELOPING] – At around 11:00 p.m. Sunday evening, police were just finishing up investigating a crash into an Arts & Crafts shop that closed down Main Street/Route 28 (click here for HN Video and coverage of the first crash scene) when they received word of a second serious crash several blocks away, in front of the Holiday Hill ice cream parlor. Upon arrival, first responders found two heavily damaged pickup trucks. All occupants from both vehicles were able to self-extricate. One of the occupants was evaluated for minor injuries. Route 28 needed to be completely shut down a second time as officials worked the scene.

The Dennis Police Department are investigating the cause of the crash.
