Officer discovers fully involved house fire… [Video]
Hyannis — A Barnstable Police Officer came across a fully involved house fire at 269 Sea Street, at the corner of Murray Way.
Barnstable Police Sergeant David Myett noticed and quickly notified police dispatch at approximately 2pm.
Everyone was reportedly out of the building…
A large part of Sea Street was closed down due to hoses and fire fighting equipment in the roadway.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by Barnstable Police and fire officials.
The following raw video begins when firefighters start breaking windows, which initially fed the flames with more oxygen… the second part of the video shows the scene from the beginning just prior to fire trucks arriving… [Press Play]
