MASHPEE – [DEVELOPING] – The following video highlights a tragic scene which unfolded about 5:25PM this evening at 5 Coombs Lane.

Police and firefighters rushed to the scene where a 14-month-old baby boy was reportedly struck by a vehicle.

Rescue quickly waved off a medflight helicopter, opting to rush the baby to Falmouth Hospital.

Police immediately tied off the area with crime scene tape and a Barnstable Police accident reconstruction expert also rushed to the scene.

The following starts with several key stills before switching over to video. It appears police were investigating in and around a pickup truck apparently parked in a driveway. The video also contains actual emergency radio transmissions. Because of the subject matter, the video and audio may be disturbing for some viewers.
