Distressing table saw accident…
Centerville – Several police units and Hyannis Rescue rushed to Midway Drive this morning for a report that a man had just cut his hand off…
It turned out not to be an amputation, but rather a nasty laceration caused by a table saw…
The victim was transported to Cape Cod Hospital.

Shortly after 5pm, four Barnstable Police squad cars arrived at an address on Oak Neck Road in Hyannis after a call from the Middleboro State Police saying that a woman was being “beaten up.”
That too turned out not to be as serious as originally reported, rather a verbal altercation involving a female with medical issues…

The daughter of the owner of the Loomis Lane address that recently burnt to the ground in Centerville is seeking help for the tenants that were displaced by the fire.

Fund established to aid victims of home fire at Loomis Lane, Centerville.
A fund has been established to assist the tenants of the Loomis Lane, Centerville home that was destroyed by fire last Wednesday night, November 20th. The personal property and possessions of Laura Pipkins and her teenage daughter were completely destroyed in this fire as was the house itself. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Company.
Those interested in donating to this fund should write a check made out to the “Laura Pipkins Fire Fund” and mail it directly to Citizens Bank, 417 Barnstable Road, Hyannis, MA 02601.
Please give generously and help this family out.
