HYANNIS – Yesterday, HN reported on and took video (see HN Video below) of the Barnstable Police responding to the armed robbery of the Hyannis Smoke Shop located at the Hyannis Crossings Plaza at 276 Falmouth Road (Rte. 28). Store clerks were found down on the floor (obviously in fear) with the cash drawers open. Today, Barnstable Police Detectives released the following statement & store surveillance footage, asking for the public’s help:
“The Barnstable Police are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday August 29, 2022 at The Smoke Shop in Hyannis. We are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual in this video. This individual may operate a small light colored SUV.
