[HFD MEDIA STATEMENT]

The Harwich Fire Department responded to Route 6 in North Harwich for a car off the road [early last evening]. A line response from the Dennis Fire Deparment responded as well.

A Dennis ambulance was first to arrive on scene and reported a car over the embankment. The driver was still in the vehicle.

On arrival, Harwich Firefighters used the jaws of life to open the doors. The driver was [removed] to Bog Lane and transported with non-life threatening injuries.

Engine 64 stood by until the vehicle was removed.
