DRUNKEN MESS: Driver arrested for OUI after passenger needed to be lifted out of own vomit and taken to CCH… [HN VIDEO]
HYANNIS – Police received a call about an erratic driver shortly after 1:00 a.m.. There was a language barrier, but responding officers were able to learn they were looking for a green car operating erratically in the area of Alicia Road.
Officers quickly located and stopped their suspect vehicle, which was awkwardly positioned in the roadway when HN arrived on scene.
As you will see in the following HN Video, the male passenger was down on the pavement where he had just vomited and lost control of other bodily functions.
The female driver went back and forth between being upset, video recording officers and taking close-up shots of her male passenger who was in the middle of suffering from some type of overdose (possibly alcohol related) on the pavement.
The female driver apparently failed field sobriety testing and was taken into custody on the suspicion of Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence. She was transported to Barnstable Police Headquarters for booking.
The passenger was transported to the Cape Cod Hospital emergency room.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
