Elderly man badly hurt in head-on collision… [VIDEO]
BARNSTABLE – At about 3:20PM, police and Barnstable firefighters rushed to a head-on (“T-bone”) crash at the intersection of Breeds Hill Road and Independence Drive.
An elderly male passenger (“77-years-old”), received a severe head laceration and trauma, according to radio transmissions.
Medics were initially concerned about controlling heavy bleeding. The patient was eventually bandaged and secured on a stretcher. He was transported to CCH and the ER was notified about the trauma in advance. A source on scene did not believe the injuries were life threatening at the time of this report.
