Fall from ladder severely injures elderly man…

Hyannis – Hyannis Rescue and several Barnstable Police units rushed to Foster Road this morning for an elderly man with severe injuries resulting from a fall from a ladder onto concrete.

According to Hyannis FD officials, the 75-year-old was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with serious injuries, which included lacerations and a possible concussion.

There have been several recent emergencies involving severe injuries caused by falls from ladders. Today’s victim was also elderly, which potentially makes his injuries a bit more troubling.
