Help save Little Bear… [UPDATED PHOTOS & INFO]
1/26/14 7pm Update — Above Photo: Rylee and Little Bear, taken today and sent in by her mom…
Rylee is wonderful 8-year-old girl who also happens to have a disability… Rylee has what is known as “Partial Mosaic Trisomy 18,” she’s also autistic and epileptic.
Little Bear is not only Rylee’s beloved friend and companion, he was also hand picked to be trained as her service dog. In fact, Rylee’s mom actually delivered Little Bear when he was born.
Helping Little Bear survive this recent tragedy is a worthy cause for many reasons, with Rylee being one of the most important. In short, Little Bear’s family has endured a litany of tests and trials in recent weeks and months…
Thanks to generous readers, the Save Little Bear fundraiser has raised over $600 so far!
The funds are being transferred directly to Little Bear’s family, who are very grateful because they now have enough to cover a full series of X-rays needed to look into the damage to Little Bear’s hind leg and other possible internal injuries…
The family plans to take Little Bear in as soon as the Veterinarian opens tomorrow…
Thank you Hyannis News readers for your support of this very special family pet. Please check back for updates…

Original story:
Yesterday, this loving family dog was struck and left to die on the side of the road by a hit-and-run driver in New Jersey…
The dog belongs to a friend of HyannisNews.com…
The young family that owns Little Bear does not have the financial means to get him the veterinary care he needs to survive…
Right now 2-year-old Little Bear is surrounded by his family who, because of financial constraints, was given the option of putting the dog down. But the family has not given up hope as Little Bear has slowly been showing signs of a strong desire and will to survive. As of very recent reports, the family continues to rally…
… Little Bear even recently ate a few bites of dog food for the first time since the accident!
But the family needs money to get ex-rays to determine the extent of his internal injuries (evident by signs of blood in his urine)…
Every donation will go directly to the care and treatment of Little Bear.
You can donate anonymously…
