HYANNIS – [HN PHOTOS] – Barnstable Police officers responded to a local gas station after receiving a report of an intoxicated male in a vehicle, at around 3:00 a.m. this morning. The first officers on scene observed an adult male as being the sole occupant of the vehicle. Officers also observed that the vehicle’s front, driver’s side tire had gaping holes in its sidewall. The man was given field sobriety tests (see above HN photos) and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of Operating Under the Influence.
