*** HN PHOTOS *** HARWICH POLICE INVESTIGATING ROLLOVER THAT SENT DRIVER TO CCH

HARWICH – Police and firefighters rushed to the area of 267 Long Pond Drive last evening around midnight for a report of a single vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, first responders found a BMW sedan on its roof in the middle of the eastbound travel lane.
The driver was hurt but had managed to self-extricate prior to the arrival of EMS, according to radio transmissions. The driver was transported to Cape Cod Hospital in a Harwich FD ambulance, in unknown condition.
It appears the BMW may have left the roadway and struck a large boulder prior to landing on its roof. A Harwich Police patrolman was actively investigating the crash at the time of the top HN photo.
There were no further details available at the time of this report. The above HN photos were made right as the driver was leaving the scene in an ambulance…
The HPD is investigating the cause of the crash.
