MARSTONS MILLS – The following photos illustrate a scene today which drew the attention of many neighbors in a quiet family neighborhood.

Police with weapons drawn converged on an address, ordering a male to come out with his hands in the air. The man was then detained in his front yard for security reasons.

According to sources, the man is a highly trained veteran who had been drinking… and officers did not want to take any chances.

He was very cooperative with officers… and several of his neighbors showed concern for him, regarding him as typically friendly and mild mannered.

The man was taken into protective custody, as officers seized a firearm and several boxes of ammo for the time being.

There are no charges pending on this individual at this time… and no further information regarding this incident at the time of this report.
