HN SHOCK VIDEO: Overdose patient revived after “shooting up” inside Hyannis Public Library…
HYANNIS – It’s a quiet little library. A place where young children go to hear a story read to them… a place where children of all ages go after school to work on projects and finish their homework…
… which is why HN immediately responded when hearing that someone was reportedly shooting up drugs inside the bathroom located inside, in a part of the library that is also the children’s section. Needless to say, hazardous intrevenous drug use anywhere near the library is definitely NOT okay.
As you will see in the following HN Video, an officer grabs his medical bag and runs into the library to save the drug user who now obviously was overdosing. Hyannis Rescue medics also arrived moments later…
Sources on scene reported the male patient, approximately in his late 20s or early 30s, eventually responded to treatment and is going to be okay.
In fact, the patient was able to get up after his self-induced near-death experience and walk out of the library past young children and concerned adults.
