HN VIDEO: Crash leaves cars in the roadway… closes West Main Street… one driver taken to CCH… police investigating…
HYANNIS – West Main Street was completely shut down earlier this evening after a motor vehicle crash at the intersection with Lincoln Road.
As you will see in the following HN Video, at about 8:30PM, police and rescue rushed to the scene after reports of injuries. The accident appears to have involved at least 3 vehicles, two were heavily damaged and needed to be towed from the scene.
The driver of one vehicle suffered facial/head trauma and was transported to CCH. A second patient was evaluated at the scene but was not transported to hospital.
It’s uncertain what caused the crash and Barnstable Police are investigating…
