HARWICH – Route 6 eastbound between Exits 9 and 10 was shut down after a vehicle lost its tire and crashed into a fence early this morning, a short time after midnight.
A 33-year-old male driver was said to be unconscious when officials were first notified of the crash, according to radio transmissions.
Dennis and Harwich first responders arrived on scene as the accident occurred very close to the town line. Massachusetts State Troopers also responded and are investigating the crash.
The driver was transported to CCH in a Dennis FD ambulance.
