HYANNIS – [DEVELOPING] – Last weekend HN learned of a shooting which occurred sometime during the early morning of Sunday, September 2nd. HN held off on breaking the news until now, as police were still in the early stages of working the “sensitive” case.

According to sources, the shooting occurred at a residence near to the Bearses Way area.

(At this time, HN is withholding the street address and names of those involved as police sources are considering this to be a very sensitive domestic related situation where the wife may not be charged with a crime.)

The wife was said to have shot the husband with some type of handgun. The husband was said to have been struck somewhere in the midsection, but he is expected to survive his injuries.

The wife may not be looking at criminal charges, but the husband was said to be looking at charges related to Domestic Assault & Battery.

No further details available at the time of this report.
