HYANNIS – A drug sniffing dog was called to snuffle several suspects one by one after a patrolman observed what he believed was narcotic activity early Wednesday morning.
Shortly after 3:00AM on 6/25/2018, Barnstable Police prowl cars arrived in the parking lot outside the Cuddles & Bubbles to assist their fellow patrolman who had initiated the investigation after keeping an eye on two parked vehicles. The patrolman reportedly observed three individuals going in and out, back and forth between the two vehicles…
A total of 5 individuals were detained, several handcuffed, while a drug sniffing K-9 unit was called to assist.
As you will see in the following HN Video, the K-9 unit also sniffed around and inside the two parked vehicles.
After about a two hour investigation, three of the suspects were reportedly arrested on charges related to a Class B “white powder” substance.
All three suspects were reportedly charged with Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws. Two of the suspects were reportedly charged with Intent to Distribute crack cocain. One suspect was also charged with Possession of a Class B Substance…
The names of the three suspects have not yet been released and HN will update when official details become available.
