The following is the actual Massachusetts State Police media statement:
Early this morning, at approximately 2:06 a.m., Trooper Edward Alldredge of the State Police South Yarmouth Barracks stopped a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze for motor vehicle violations on North Street in Barnstable.
As a result of an investigation, the driver, identified as NICHOLAS A. HUBBARD, 37, of Centerville, was found to be in possession of approximately 124 grams of heroin, 6 grams of cocaine, and a half-pill of Xanax.
HUBBARD was placed under arrest and brought to the South Yarmouth Barracks for booking.
HUBBARD was charged with the following:
1. Possess to distribute Class A drug (Heroin)
2. Possess to distribute Class B drug (Cocaine)
3. Possess Class C drug (Xanax)
4. Trafficking in Heroin/Morphine/Opium
Barnstable Police Officers Pizaia and Melia also assisted during the traffic stop. HUBBARD was issued a civil citation for the motor vehicle violations.
HUBBARD was held on $10,000 bail, pending arraignment this morning in Barnstable District Court.
