FOUR CAR COLLISION SLOWS LUNCH HOUR TRAFFIC: Possible broken shoulder and facial injuries… backups and delays… taxicab and pickup heavily damaged… [HN PHOTOS]
HYANNIS – Traffic was backed up in both directions after four cars collided, blocking most of the roadway on Route 132 in front of McDonald’s during today’s lunch hour.
A patient was transported to CCH after reportedly suffering facial lacerations and a possible broken shoulder, according to sources.
Officials hustled to clean up the roadway as traffic needed to be drastically slowed in both directions, causing backups along Route 132 as far as they eye could see…
A silver pickup and Hyannis Town Taxi were both heavily damaged and disabled in the roadway. Two other sedans had lesser damage…
A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit assisted with photos, and the Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
