HYANNIS – “Social distancing” is our main weapon to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus, experts say. And more and more shoppers are taking that advice seriously.

Today, HN took a look around at people out shopping and it was much more common to see people wearing masks and gloves compared to just two days ago. And what was more interesting was that those without masks did not do double takes, it seems everyone knows what has to be done to beat this thing… and while observing one store for a brief period, it seemed as those without masks were in the minority.

All this as the White House is “expected to urge at least some people across the country to begin wearing cloth masks or face coverings in public to dampen the spread of the virus,” according to a recent article published online by The Hour… with some officials at one border crossing way down in Texas even threatening to “fine those who don’t cover their nose and mouth if they go out in public.”
