HN VIDEO: Police investigating fresh pry marks & open “operating room” window at Hyannis dentist…
HYANNIS – [DEVELOPING] – As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, shortly before 4:00 a.m. this morning, Barnstable Police responded to an alarm at the dentist offices located at 414 South Street, right at the intersection with Chase Street. The first officer on scene found an open window with fresh pry marks. It’s uncertain if the perpetrator actually made it inside the building or if anything had been taken. Officers searched the area and documented encounters with individuals out and about. A Barnstable County Sheriff’s K-9 unit responded from Falmouth and began investigating indications of recent foot traffic to the rear of the building. A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded to take photos and process the scene. The incident is being investigated by the Barnstable Police Department.
