YO, CHILL: Keeping the peace… [HN PHOTOS]

HYANNIS – The following HN Photos illustrate something local police deal with just about every evening. Quite often tempers flare after an evening of libations, as was the case early this morning in a parking lot on North Street. A nearby bar had just closed its doors as a Barnstable Police sergeant radioed that there was another fight. (Minutes earlier, officers had stood by and kept the peace after another apparent skirmish…) As skirmishes go, these were very minor and no arrests were made. Just a few instances of heated animation…

Officers made sure everyone had cooled their jets prior to dispersing the well lubricated group toward all four corners of Hytown. Peace had been kept.
