*** WATCH *** SUV crash into Hyannis Port beach club fence…

HYANNIS PORT – Police and firefighters responded to the West Beach Club at the intersection of Squaw Island Road and Dale Ave after receiving reports of a single vehicle crash with injury at around 9:15 p.m., last evening. It turned out there were no injuries and Hyannis FD was able to quickly clear the scene.

There were a number of onlookers when HN arrived and found an unusual scene for the typically quiet neighborhood.

The SUV appears to have been traveling along Squaw Island Road when it somehow lost control and smashed into a stockade fence surrounding a couple of dumpsters.

The following HN Video highlights what turned out to be a relatively minor accident scene that drew a lot of attention… (the important thing being that nobody was hurt….)

The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. No further details available at the time of this report…
