HYANNIS – Trooper Edward Alldredge was reportedly cruising along Route 28 in the Town of Barnstable in an unmarked police cruiser when he observed a vehicle with Florida plates also traveling along in the same direction this past Sunday, 12/23/18, at about 11:58 p.m..

Trooper Alldredge reportedly observed the driver holding a cell phone, or some other similar electronic device, which was lit up in his hand. According to the trooper’s report, the vehicle slowly began to drift over the center yellow lines, quickly correcting itself, while the driver still had the lit up device in his hand.

A computer check revealed the vehicle was a rental car and just as it turned onto Pitcher’s Way, Trooper Alldredge flicked on his blue lights and initiated a traffic stop.

The trooper observed three male occupants while he approached. None of them were wearing seat belts and one of the men was reportedly laying across the back seat with his hands in his pants. The trooper told the back seat passenger to make his hands visible and sit up…

… and the passenger reportedly complied.

While collecting identifications, Trooper Alldredge reportedly recognized the front seat passenger as Terrell Williams, a known narcotics dealer who he had arrested in the past. Trooper Alldredge also knew that Williams has a history of firearms charges.

The driver was identified as Anthony Jackson and the backseat passenger was Jamonte Smith.

When asked who had rented the vehicle, the driver, Anthony Jackson was unable to provide the rental agreement and told the trooper he thought his sister may have been the renter.

Computer checks revealed both Jackson and Smith had multiple past firearms charges and convictions.

According to the police report, “All three members are known, active members of the Boston Gang CP2. The gang is from Charleme Street in Roxbury and the members are known to carry firearms as well as be violent. While conducting queries I observed WILLIAMS bend forward then sit back up quickly. He leaned towards the center and lifted his body off of the seat as if he was concealing or retrieving something. During this time JACKSON was out of sight and SMITH was turning around and looking towards me and back towards the front seat systematically. Fearing that the parties were concealing or retrieving weapons and conspiring against me, I requested Trooper Craig Skribiski #4205 to the scene.”

While Trooper Skribiski watched Williams and Smith, Trooper Alldredge ordered Jackson out of the vehicle. During a pat frisk of his buttocks, Jackson pulled away. Suspicious, the trooper continued to frisk the buttocks and felt what he believed was a bag of rocky narcotics. Jackson reportedly admitted, “it’s coke. I’ll take it out.” Reaching down into his pants, Jackson reportedly pulled out “bags consisting of multiple smaller bags of white rocky substance.” The white substance was packaged as if it was for distribution.

Jackson was arrested. After being read his Miranda rights, he reportedly stated he was bringing the drugs down to the Cape “for girls.”

Trooper Alldredge’s report continues:

I approached the passenger side of the vehicle and ordered WILLIAMS to exit. I escorted him [to] the rear of the vehicle and began to frisk him. While frisking him, I felt what I knew to be a larger bag of rocky substance consistent with narcotics in his crotch area. I informed him of what I felt and he said, “yo, that was my balls man.” I informed him that I knew what it was and began to detain him in handcuffs. He then looked towards the ground and said, “ok, it’s just a couple pieces. I’ll take it out, I got you.” He reached in his pants and pulled out a large bag that contained multiple smaller bags of white rocky substance and multiple smaller bags of brownish powder.

Williams was arrested and read his rights. Upon searching further, the trooper found about $385 in cash shoved in William’s pocket, as if it was shoved in after transactions. Williams then reportedly told troopers he didn’t do drugs himself. He also reportedly stated he did not have a job.

The third passenger, SMITH, was also frisked with negative results.

Trooper Alldredge also reportedly found a cell phone in the vehicle with text messages popping up. One text reportedly said, “Man u always do this. Need a half off each.” Williams later admitted to the phone belonging to him.

The rental vehicle was inventoried and towed from the scene.

Williams and Jackson were transported to the state police barracks in South Yarmouth.

Anthony Jackson was charged with Possession to Distribute Class B – Crack Cocaine. Jackson was also issued a citation for marked lanes violations and impeded operation.

Terrell Williams, age 22, of Boston, was charged with Possession to Distribute Class B – Crack Cocaine, and Possession to Distribute Class A – Heroin.

Multiple bags of “white rock Crack Cocaine,” approximately 15 grams total, was stored as evidence. Multiple bags containing about 4 grams of heroin were also stored as evidence.

Williams reportedly posted $1000 cash bail and was released after his arraignment at Barnstable District Court. His pretrial hearing is scheduled for January 22, 2019.
