Injured swan brought in for care and treatment…
WEST YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Natural Resources officers responded to a report of an injured swan yesterday.
The swan was reportedly “lethargic and distressed” when it was located in front of residence.
The relatively large swan was carefully captured and transported to the Cape Wildlife Center, according to a Yarmouth DNR media statement.
Cape Wildlife staff examined the swan and believe it can be saved…
The Yarmouth DNR expressed their appreciation for the Cape Wildlife Center’s efforts in rescuing and treating injured Cape wildlife.
On that note, HN would like to also extend appreciation for the Cape Wildlife Center’s efforts… as well as those of the Yarmouth DNR… and to everyone who goes out of their way to care for all creatures, great or small!
🙂
HN will provide updates as they become available.
P.S. – Today’s Hytown Vignette is brought to you by the Elton John… [Crank it!]
