*** LISTEN *** POLICE RUSH TOWARD CROMWELL COURT AFTER JUVENILE “STABBED…” [DEVELOPING]
HYANNIS – As you will hear in the following HN “video,” at around 3:12 p.m. yesterday – Monday, August 1, 2022 – Barnstable Police patrol officers rushed toward Cromwell Court Apartments after someone was reportedly stabbed to the rear of one of the buildings there.
Hyannis FD Rescue also responded and transported a juvenile patient to Cape Cod Hospital to be treated. The current condition of the injured juvenile is unknown at the time of this report.
Barnstable Police Detectives also began arriving on scene to investigate the “stabbing.” Together with members of the patrol force, detectives reportedly began to focus on at least one suspect, also described as a juvenile.
The following HN “video” contains actual Barnstable Police radio transmissions of the initial police and fire department response to the Hyannis apartment complex. It also contains still photos of BPD detectives on scene later that evening, reportedly after having just searched an apartment in relation to the earlier “stabbing.” Because this matter apparently involves juveniles, certain details will likely be withheld. HN will provide official updates regarding this matter if and when they become available.
