HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN photo notes] – A man was arrested in Hyannis on Tuesday evening after allegedly threatening a theft victim with a razor or knife, according to Barnstable Police. The incident unfolded around 5:35 p.m. when officers responded to a call on Main Street near South Street. The caller reported confronting a man in possession of his recently stolen skateboard, only to be threatened with “some sort of knife or razor” by the suspect, who then fled the scene with the skateboard.
The suspect was described as an older white male with long grayish hair, wearing a gray hoodie, and carrying a skateboard, possibly still armed with a razor or knife. Moments later, the Barnstable Police K9 unit located a man matching this description on Bassett Lane, carrying a skateboard and wearing a gray hoodie.
