MORNING MYSTERY: Abandoned Jeep Wrangler discovered off road after hitting tree… with nobody around as far as the eye could see… [Video]
WEST BARNSTABLE – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an abandoned Jeep Wrangler discovered after it left the road and struck a tree on the Service Road near the intersection with Saddler Lane.
Police discussed a report that the driver and several young occupants were spotted inside the Jeep in the downtown Hyannis area earlier in the evening… however they are uncertain how many occupants were inside the vehicle when it crashed..
The vehicle is registered to a person from South Yarmouth who may possibly have friends in the West Barnstable area…
A Barnstable County Sheriff’s photographer was called in to document the scene…
According to police early this morning, investigators are still looking into the accident…
