*** WATCH *** Pool party interrupted when male dressed in dark clothing fired pellet through sliding glass door…
OSTERVILLE – Adults and children were enjoying a pool party last evening when a male came out of nowhere and fired upon their residence. At first, they believed someone had fired a bullet, but it actually turned out to be a pellet which shattered a sliding glass door.
Several Barnstable Police units made their way toward the residence on Osterville/West Barnstable Road when the call came in shortly after 10:00 p.m.
As you will hear in the following HN Video, the first officers on scene requested a crime scene photographer and put out the only suspect description they had at the time, a male wearing dark clothing who fled toward the side of the residence immediately after the shooting.
Patrol officers and a Barnstable Police K9 Unit began searching the area but were unable to catch up to the suspect.
