STREET VIOLENCE: Police investigating beating…
HYANNIS – Last evening at about 11:15PM, police and rescue responded to the area of Winter Street and Charles Street to help a man who said he had just been jumped. The young man had been beaten about the face and was treated and transported to CCH with severe swelling to the left side of his head.

Further official details were unavailable at the time of this report. The latest word being that several scenarios are still in play…
Police investigators are working on leads and a photographer responded to CCH to document the man’s injuries.
One thing is certain, that area is also a family neighborhood with children of all ages, and any type of street violence is thoroughly unacceptable…
