TRAUMA ALERT: First responders try to save fall victim’s life… [HN Video]

WEST YARMOUTH – Rescue workers rushed to help a 58-year-old man who fell down a flight of stairs last evening.
At about 10:30PM, police and firefighters responded to an address on Gleason Ave to help the stricken man.
According to sources, the man suffered traumatic life-threatening injuries after apparently slipping and falling down approximately 15 stairs. Rescuers immediately started CPR, placing Cape Cod Hospital on trauma alert for what was described as a “priority one, code 99” patient.
All sources indicate the victim’s condition was critical at the time of this report.
The patient was taken directly to CCH.
