BARNSTABLE, Massachusetts – State troopers responded to Route 6 westbound just after Exit 72 (the old Exit 7) for a single vehicle crash into the median scrub-growth, at around 6:00 a.m. this morning. The adult male driver was up and walking and did not require emergency medical services. There had been a steady rain, puddles and otherwise wet conditions throughout the early morning hours. Traffic flow was reduced to one lane as first responders worked the scene. Traffic was moderate to heavy for the morning commute. The vehicle needed to be towed from the scene…
… troopers cleared the scene at around 6:38 a.m. One trooper gave the driver a courtesy ride to the Burger King rest area at Exit 68.
