HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – Shortly after 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning  –  5/24/25  –  Barnstable Police and Hyannis Firefighters responded to Route 28 near the intersection with Spring Street for a two-vehicle crash. Thick weekend traffic needed to be occasionally stopped in both directions to allow first responders to clean up the scene as quickly as possible. Hyannis firefighters hustled to clear the roadway of fluids and debris. One person was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after complaining of leg pain. Both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene. The BPD is investigating…
