VIDEO: Rollover on Route 6 in Sandwich…

SANDWICH – State troopers and Sandwich Firefighters needed to close the left-hand lane of Route 6 westbound for a single car rollover accident last evening.

At about 11:20PM, first responders began arriving on scene to find a Mercedes sedan resting on its roof right in the middle of the left-hand travel lane.

According to official sources, the driver and only occupant of the vehicle escaped serious trauma and was transported to CCH with injuries described as non-life-threaten.

Rapid response from troopers and firefighters allowed Capeway Towing to immediately remove the road hazard and the lane was reopened in relatively short order…
