DENNIS – Police and firefighters responded to the Entertainment Cinemas sometime after 5:00 p.m. today, after a car crashed through the front of the building. The car bounced back into the parking lot and eventually was towed from the scene.

According to cinema staff, they had about one hundred guest spread throughout their various theaters. None of the guests were injured, but all the threaters needed to be closed down for the remainder of Easter Sunday.

The driver was transported to Cape Cod Hospital in a Dennis FD Ambulance. The driver’s condition was unknown at the time of this report.

The building inspector was called to the scene to check the building’s structure…

The Dennnis PD is investigating the cause of the crash.

DPD STATEMENT: The Entertainment Cinemas in Patriot Square will be closed for the remainder of the evening as a vehicle crashed into the front of the building causing structural damage that needs to be inspected.
