*** WATCH *** DRIVER CRITICAL, CORVETTE UNRECOGNIZABLE AFTER CRASH INTO TREE IN MARSTONS MILLS/COTUIT
MARSTONS MILLS/COTUIT – The wreckage was unrecognizable after a Corvette struck a tree on Santuit/Newtown Road this evening, around 7pm.
The driver (the sole occupant) was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Medflight was not flying due to weather.
The Barnstable Police called for a crash reconstruction unit. (The driver was described as a young male in his 20s, according to sources…)
The current condition of the driver is unknown at the time of this report. The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. The following HN Footage shows the scene shortly after the arrival of the accident reconstruction unit.
